On Janmashtami, devotees observe fasting till midnight. The temple is decorated with flowers, lights, and colorful decorations. Special events like bhajans, aratis, and offerings are performed with love, devotion and great enthusiasm.

More than 100 varieties of food are prepared and offered to Lord Krishna on this day. Devotees also chant his holy names, read the Bhagavad Gita, and share spiritual wisdom by distributing books and inviting others to Krishna consciousness.

At midnight, a grand abhisheka is performed of Lord Krishna, followed by the beautiful maha arati, programs, and distribution of prasadam. The temple becomes filled with joy, with lakhs of visitors coming to seek blessings.
